Kaleen Williams

Kaleen Williams
4/28/1952 to 1/3/2015 (aged 62)

Kaleen Marie Williams, 62, a life-long resident of Las Vegas, departed this Earth suddenly, Jan. 3, 2015. She was born April 28, 1952, the third child of Donald and Edna (nee Sorgmann) Williams. She may have been the middle daughter of five in the family, but to the family, she was the ringleader and the princess.

Kaleen was a graduate of St. Josephs Catholic Elementary School, as well as Bishop Gorman High School in 1970. Our sister held a deep and abiding faith all her life, and was a good and faithful servant in answer to the words of Our Lord. She offered her services to many individuals and organizations. She was a dedicated church leader. Her career with the U.S. Postal Service began 42 years ago, culminating in a retirement begun just this past December 1st. She would have laughed with the irony that she had yet to draw her first pension check.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; nephew, Keaton Alan Dorman; as well as beloved grandmother, Marie Sorgmann VonToerne. Kaleen leaves behind her four sisters, Karen (Pete) Souhrada, Kathleen (Donald) Scott, Kim (Charles) Yang, and Kristine (Alan) Dorman. Beloved of her are nieces and nephews, Keith Souhrada, Kevin Souhrada, Kele Yang, Kerry Yang, Kyle Souhrada, Kristopher Yang and Kelsey Dorman. Her friends were many, and we know that she left an indelible mark on this world. We will all miss her sense of humor, razor-sharp intellect, good counsel, as well as her desire to always get us to play games. Services are pending.
