LYNN TRAVERS Lynn Travers, 66, passed away peacefully January 24, 2018, in Henderson, after a long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was born December 11, 1951, in Martinez, California, to Frank and Donna Travers.

Lynn lived in the Las Vegas valley since 1959. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1970. She attended UNR and UNLV and retired from the Clark County School District after working as an English teacher and guidance counselor.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Donna Travers. She is survived by sister, Toni Travers Goz (Harold); niece, Lauren Goz; and stepchildren, Jeff Brown and Summer Brown Barron, whom she raised like her own and loved very much. Her furry kids, Sadie and Coco, will miss her tremendously. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Reception following. Donations can be made to Dewey (no kill) Animal Shelter. She is no longer in pain and is now dancing with the angels.
